The Fourth of July is a great excuse to grill out with the family!  The Akard family always has a good spread of food for family get togethers!  Some of the neighbors joined in the fun too!  After the great meal, we just enjoyed hanging out together.  Then of course, came the fireworks.

Happy Birthday America!!  I'm so proud to live in this country!  I'm so proud of all those men and women who continue to fight for our freedom!  No, our country is not perfect, but we are blessed to call USA home!  Thank you God!  Well, we started the Fourth of July celebrations out with the morning parade.  Daddy stayed home to work on the play structure, so I called Paw-Paw at the last minute, and he joined the fun!  It was hot, but the kids had fun collecting candy and eating it.
