Aya's B-day Dinner

We went to Famous Dave's for Aya's birthday dinner.  It was real nice!  Grace was so excited to see Wilbur the pig.  It was so cute.  Alex had a blast giving Wilbur high fives.  However, when Wilbur turned around to greet other kids, Alex started going after his tail.  It was so funny! Get em Bub!

Aunt Aya's Birthday Cake

Aunt Aya is picky about her cakes!  Thankfully, she loves mine!  I made her a two-layer chocolate cake with butter cream icing.  While I was busy decorating the cake, Alex decided to help himself to the icing.  I didn't even know he was doing this at first.  Aya saw him and grabbed her camera.  Smart boy!

More Chopped Liver

My Mom has always been a great encourager in my life!  I'm so grateful that God blessed me with such a positive Mom!  Mom, being the artsy one that she is, made me a bracelet today that sports my new nickname, "Chopped Liver."  I laughed!  However, last night I wasn't Chopped Liver.  I was out visiting a friend and when I got back, Alex gave me the best greeting ever!  He shouted and jumped up and down, "Mommy's home, Mommy's home!"  He ran into the bathroom to tell sister that I was home.  "Grace, stop go see Mommy.  She's home!"  Alex proceeded to give me lots of hugs and so did my Gracie!  I about melted, cried all those girlie emotions (that my husband always pokes fun of, seriously).  Last night, both my babies wanted me to put them to bed!  For once, they wanted Chopped Liver!  

Swimming Lessons

We started Grace in swim lessons this week too.  Yes, it's been a very busy week.  Grace was supposed to have 4 private lessons this week, but we only got in 2 1/2 thanks to good, ole thunderstorms.  She is doing so well!  She's able to swim by herself to the edge of the pool (from the rope)!  I'm so proud of her.  She even jumps right in, as you can see by the picture!  We have 2 more lessons next week.  She'll be swimming like a fish! Go Grace!

Princess Camp

Today is Aunt Aya's birthday, she was at Princess Camp!

Wow!  What a week!  I'm so exhausted!  Grace attended her first Princess Camp at KDW and she loved it!  She made so many cool crafts and got to wear her Princess dresses!  What fun!  I shot video and took tons of pictures.  I'm putting together a sweet video for the Princess Camp kids!  Grace was so cute!!!!

Daddy is almost finished with the play structure!  We are excited!  The kids have enjoyed helping Daddy put the swing set together.  Looking good, Dad!

Princess Camp

It's Princess Camp week!  Grace LOVES the Disney Princesses, so Princess Camp sounded like a perfect fit!  Each day they celebrate two Princesses.  Today was Snow White and Belle!  On the way to PC, Grace said (while riding in our mini van), "Mommy, I'm going to pretend like this is my carriage."  I laughed!
