Olivia Eyerus is Home!!

What a roller coaster ride it has been for our dear friends, Nathan and Karey! It is so neat to sit back and look at the hand of God in the adoption of their little girl, Olivia Eyerus. Nathan and Karey are great parents. I joke and call Karey Superwoman! God has laid adoption on their hearts for awhile. He eventually led them to Ethiopia. At first, they were thinking they'd get a little bit younger girl, but God had something else for them. A little four-year-old was put up for adoption and her name was sent to the Nathan and Karey. After praying about it, they said yes! So, she's practically the same age as the twins. Who's counting! Olivia had three big brothers just waiting for her arrival. They needed some pink in that house! It was such a blessing to greet them at the airport. Olivia had to hug and kiss each person. She is so loving!!!! She is the perfect fit into their family! Praise God! She loved the camera too! My kind of girl! My Grace can't wait to meet her new friend!

Hair Cut and Chuck E. Cheese

They really are good buds!

Hey Alex, you got a little something...

It was time to get Grace's hair cut again and this really pains Grandma!  I took Grace to the lady that cuts my hair and boy did she have a blast.  Grace sat so still in the chair and was so serious!  After her hair was cut, Ms. Linda played it up.  Grace got a Princess hair-do and makeup.  How fun!  Later that week, we hit the Cheese!!!  Alex is now potty trained! Yipee!

Back to School

Bubby likes to walk sis into school.

Yes, that's a large backpack!

Grace knows just what to do!

She even found her spot at the table!

I can't believe it's time for school, again.  This is Grace's last year of pre-school.  She is in Ms. Lee Ann's class and we are so happy to have her for a teacher.  She reminds me of one of my best friends, Amy Bryant.  Maybe that is why I like her already.  Grace loves school.  I think she will enjoy the friendships with her classmates even more this year!

Just a few more!

Alex was having a good time!

Of course, Keith and I had to take our own pic!

Two of my fav pics!!!  Personality!

We had a blast this year in Destin!  We met some cool people, got to hang out with friends and really enjoyed the kids being ALL ABOUT THEIR GRANDPARENTS!!!   Destin 08 was a big hit!

Beach Pics

My handsome boys!

Beautiful, sun-kissed Gracie!

Grandma the photog, good lower-third!

Mommy and her Gracie!  Wish I was that tan, Grace!

We did several evenings of "beach pictures," this year.  I wasn't stressed at all!  I just wanted a few good pics of my family at the beach.  Of course, I was thinking Christmas card!  I had fun!

Pool Fun

It was a break out year for Grace in the pool.  She had her swimming lessons and was ready to take off!  She did great!  By the end of the week, she was diving in the shallow end's water for sticks, doing under water back flips and meeting as many friends as she could!  Grace would go up to little girls and say, "Will you be my friend?"  How sweet!  Bubby enjoyed the water. He could float by himself with a noodle.  He liked to drink the pool water too...lovely!

Chest hair?

Bub has chest hair!!!!

Dinner at the Back Porch

Cutie in a bikini!

My photo shoot with Alex in the linen pants, didn't last long.  Yeah, they got wet pretty quickly. Alex isn't big on wet pants, so I took them off....hence the under pants shot!  A few days earlier, Keith had put a bunch of seaweed on Alex's chest.  It was pretty funny.  We tried to re-create the moment for a picture!

What a Stud!

Like my nice beach outfit?

You talking to me?

Yeah, I got some big muscles!

What a little man Alex is turning out to be.  He's such a cutie.  Watch out ladies, he's a big flirt!

Thanks Grandma and Paw Paw!

Here's Grandma and Paw Paw!

Of course, Pug had to be in the photo shoot!

If you know me at all, you know I'm obsessed with getting great beach pictures.  Someday I will get photoshop and go crazy.  Right now, I just love taking pictures of my kids!  They will thank me one day!  By now, they really are used to the camera!  I'm glad Grace likes to model for me too!  Thanks for the great trip Grandma and Paw Paw!  Keith and I didn't mind being chopped liver!

Fireworks

That's one big chair!

This is how Grace watched the fireworks!

It was finally time for the fireworks.  Grace had been holding her ears for 30 minutes prior to the show and she never put them down.  Towards the end, she was laughing, but still holding her ears.  Bubby kept talking about all the colors.  "Daddy, I saw a blue one, a red one, a yellow one."  It was cute.  Bub was all about the fireworks!

The only way I get into pictures...

More pout, less smile!

Smile with your eyes, Grace!

Nice man pose, Alex!  What a stud!

We were a little bored waiting on the fireworks display, so we decided to have a little fun!
