I haven't been to Boomsday in years. It's just not the kind of place that you take young kids. However, this year was different. We were invited to be VIP guests at a very special Boomsday event. We were floating right on the river, pretty cool. We dined on Famous Dave's BBQ and snacked on yummy desserts. When it was time for the fireworks display, all we had to do was look straight ahead and a little up. This was the way to go! Special thanks to Chris Burkhart and Southern Shores! You all rock!

Boomsday!
